Bulls for Sale

These are the best bulls we have ever offered.  The number is small because we culled over 55% of the calves this year to offer you only the best for your cow herd.  These bulls are all sired by top AI sires, have EPDs and will work your cows.  Once you have selected your bulls we will have them examined for Breeding Soundness, give you a copy and deliver your bull to your pasture. All bulls that have an AM carrier in their pedigree have been tested to be free of the AM genetic defect.

Click on the bulls below to get complete information on them. Sugar Hill will transfer the registration certificate on any bull purchased to the new owner. This transfer will entitle you to enroll the bull’s calves in the AngusSource® program and give you a subscription to the Angus Beef Bulletin®. If you would like to enroll your calves in AngusSource®, contact Sugar Hill Farm for assistance and reimbursement on the purchase of tags for calves sired by our bulls.

A L O T Angus Sale May 9, 2009 Consignments
	Sugar Hill Farm has consigned five (5) lots to the A L O T Angus Ass'n sale to be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Mt. Pleasant, TX.

Fall 3-N-1 Lots

S H F Pride Gal C496 and her heifer calf SHF Pride Gal U30

This first calf heifer is the result of embryo transfer at Belle Point Ranch. Her Dam is one the top donor cows in their program. C496 had her first calf in November, 2008 by Objective OT26 and bred back the attempt on 1/17/09 to TC Total 410 (one of the Top 10 AI sires in the breed). She is checked safe to the AI date. Her Objective heifer calf also sells.

SHF Pride Gal U30 is going to be a great replacement female. Her dam bred right back AI 60 days after having her. She does not have EPDs because her dam is an ET cow, but hers will be great once reported by the AAA.

NER Evergreen 5425 and her bull calf SHF Evergreen U26 5425 has an October bull calf by Objective OT26 we would like to keep to sell next spring. 5425 is rebred AI to G A R New Design 5050 on 1/17/09 and is safe. Solid young replacement female who has produced two nice calves we got her from NER Farms.

SHF Evergreen U26 will grow into a great herd bull for the buyer that can be used on heifers. WE would like to keep this one to sell next spring.

Bred Heifer Lots

SHF New Day T075 is one of two bred heifers Sugar Hill Farm is bringing you today. T075 is our best New Day heifer in her crop. She is bred AI to top ABS Global sire Objective OT26 to give her calf a wider birth to yearling spread. T075 is bred AI to GAR New Design 5050 on 4/22/09.

SHF New Design T145 is one of two bred heifers Sugar Hill Farm is bring you today. T145 is out of a show heifer our managers son showed successfully in Arkansas. She will make a good addition to any program looking for young replacement females. T145 is bred AI to Genex sire SAV Bismark 5682. She has the pedigree and carcass merit to produce great offspring.

Spring 3-N-1 Lot

XXG Forever Lady 715 7238 is a nice young 1st calf heifer we got out of the XX-G program last year. She has a January Leachman Right Time heifer calf, SHF RIGHT FOR THE TIMES W01, who hit the ground running. No Precision genetics here. 7238 was bred AI 4/15/09 to GAR-EGL Protege.
